I currently have 2 goats. A Nubian buck and a (hopefully) pregnant Nubian/LaMancha doe. Today I just bought a nice bag of the goat ration and some minerals. I fed the doe 2 cups of the ration, and fed the buck 1 cup of the ration. I also mixed in about 1/3 of minerals in with the ration as the directions told me to. I wanted to know if I am giving too much or too little of the ration to the goats as I have heard bucks are NOT allowed to get any?

I give my buck free choice hay, all he wants. All my goats are Nubians.

In the evening he gets 2 cups of N-Timidator goat feed.

I have a mineral feeder which attaches to the wall, I keep it filled with a loose goat mineral. I use Manna Pro, they are chelated and very readily absorbed.

Lots of fresh water.

I feed my does 2 cups goat developer twice a day, with l/2 cup of BOSS, twice a day. All the hay they want and lots of fresh water and of course, the same mineral.

I do FAMACHA once a week and Copasure twice a year, and Essential CD & T twice a year.

I deworm only after I think they need it. I have a fecal test done by my vet. Usually in late spring.

Treats, natural things, like pears, apples.

My goats also have lots of brouse on the ranch, they love honeysuckle and multifloria rose bushes.
