How soon to breed a New Rabbit?

Hi,

I just bought a New Zealand buck yesterday. He came from a very clean rabbitry. How long should I wait to breed him? A week? Thirty days? I know I should probably wait at least a week. It's just that I have a doe that wants to be bred. Thank you very much for your help and any other tips.

If he came from a reputable breeder go ahead and use him.
If you would have bought him at an auction or.... I would quartine for 3 weeks.

I would wait at least a week, even if the rabbit is from a good breeder I still quarantine.
