How to get a young hefer it top condition

i have a hefer that i will be breeding soon and i was woundring what can i do to get her in the best condition

thinner condition at breeding time is 100% of the time better for breeding than having one too fat, as is having them on the thinner side at calving opposed to too fat.

I'd try to slim her down if she was at my place.

I'm not saying anything on this until or we see a picture of her, because we have absolutely no idea what she looks like nor what condition she's in: we don't know if she's already in good condition, too fat or too thin! I'd rather have it middle-of-the-road. Heifers are still growing so they would need the extra condition (but not too much) as carry-over. I.e. I'd rather have heifers breed at 5 to 6 instead of 4 to 5 on a 1-9 scale.
