Howdy! We are in central Oklahoma and breed, raise and train Texas Longhorns for exhibition. We specialize in Riding and Driving Steers. What I especially like about the Back Yard Forum is that you don't need a zillion acre ranch to enjoy Texas Longhorns!!! Not everyone has a huge ranch or even necessarilly wants one. A pair of pet steers are perfect on 5 or 10 acres behind your house. They keep the grass down, are low maintenance and make fabulous pets. They are smart and affectionate and love people. Trained steers that ride like a horse become members of the family and are a cross between a horse, dog and a cow!
