Just wanted to say Howdy to everyone @ BYH! :frowLooking forward to meeting all ya'll and long discussions about my new love. I have fell in love with goats, the Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goat! I just love these lil kiddos. They remind me of a bag of potatoe chips; I can't have just a couple or a hand full, naw , I gotta have a whole bag of them; meaning I gotta have a whole herd of N/D. They are alot of fun, and hours of entertainment playing and all. Now I do have to say, I am a Goat-A-Holic. So if there is anyone who is a Goat-A-Holic also, just drop me a line and we can chat awhile about our addition=GOATS !!! :caf See Ya'll in The Back-Yard!

Welcome from the Goldy Show Hens
A Big Thank You! I'm just learning, so any extra hints would be helpful. So what kinda chickens do you raise? A few years back; before my new love "Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats" we raised Rhode Island Reds, the old timey kind. Boy they were some eye laying machines. well, thank you again for laying out the welcome mat.

Lol! There's many people on here that can affirm that "you can't have just one"! :D Your herd can just keep growing and growing in no time at all, because of all the new additions we add, not to mention any that are born at the farm!

You're welcome!! :) Aww, thank you! I <3 my goatie friends! :)
Lol! I started out with 2 goats too! And we have 10 total as well! Wow, is this funny! We also have 7 does, 2 bucks, and a wether! That's so cool that we have the same amount of goats! 6 of them are mine, 3 are my Dad's, and one is my sisters! :) 2 of ours are about 5 months old, so they have to wait to have babies too. :)
Congratulations!! :) Baby goats are sooo wonderful! I have one that I believe is due in the beginning of April, and haven't bred the others yet. :) <3 baby goats!

This is a very friendly & warm website. Wow, we have the same in goats. So the pic thats showing was my first kidding. Just Love these N/D goats. so much fun. Each one has their own personalty. Our farm has only 10 ND goats right now, but come Jan. we will be running crazy with lil ones.:weee Looking forward too it. Cause it's like opening up a birthday present, you don't know whats under the wrapping paper. From Color to which is it, a doe or a buck. I wrote on a board in our barn "THINK PINK". The first time it worked great; second time not so great , so we're crossing our hooves for all does with blue eyes this time. This will be our 1st time with baby blues. Love them baby blues too.:love
