I am Starting my FIRST Rabbitry!-Mini Rex-Advice Needed

This Sunday I will be picking up a Breeding Trio and then my Rabbitry will be under way! I am so excited! I have dreamed about breeding Mini Rex rabbits since I got my first two does a few years ago! I have some questions though. After getting my new rabbits how long should I give them to "settle in" to their new homes before I start breeding? Also how many times should a buck be bred in one day? When I get my trio I will have three does that are breeding age. I am thinking about spreading out the three breedings but am not sure how far apart to do that. What do you all recommend?

Good Luck! I love Mini Rexes, a friend of mine raises them and I keep on telling her let me know why you get a litter because I know I'll probably will end up getting one. lol Like I bought a Lionhead from her. LOL

Well, I will be breeding my buck with the three older does tomorrow! If all goes well in about 28-32 days I will have three new Mini Rex litters!

we like to breed at least 3 does at a time, incase one litter needs to be fostered for one of a hundred reasons. but of course we have 8 bucks to choose from(different breeds) in fact, had to foster 3 kits, their mom quit eating, had severe diarehea. we tried treating her, but she died. but the kits should do just fine.
