I simply CAN NOT wait until Thursday!!!!

I just had to share my excitement with others that would understand! LOL

I have 3 N.D 's and two of which are Pregnant. I went to Bio tracking... Thanks to everyone here for that bit of advice... and got some info on how to send in blood work to test for CAE...PG... Johnes...etc.

I called my vet due to the fact that I have no idea how to draw blood... they said that they would do it for $10 per doe. I thought that was pretty reasonable. They then offered to do an Ultra Sound for the two pregnant Goats for $25! I jumped on that deal and I am so excited to see the results!

They were bred by an experienced Goat handler on March the 4th, and 6th. I know that you can't be certain if they are pg. sometimes up until the last month.. and I've read that even then you can be fooled. So having this ultrasound is something that I am def. looking forward to! I could send in the blood work to test for pg. but since we only have two... and the Ultrasound is so much more fun... Why not...


I assume that you can see how many babies each doe is having????

They can usually tell how many but sometimes ya get one that'll hide and fool everyone!

Now... if they could just tell ya the sex :/

We had an ultra sound done on our doe. Planned n twins for 4 months and ended up with triplets! It's still really cool though and definitely worth it. Triplets was a nice surprise.

I have 4 children and have been WRONG on the sex of EVERY ONE of them!! So maybe Goat baby guessing is my thing??


The next longest wait will be for the babies in August!!! I have the birthing bag ready to go and we just bought our milking stand!
