For two nights now I have been catching cows. They didn't push through the fence or Jump it like most cows do.

They Went under the fence, like a goat! They just lifted it up and went right under into the neighbor's field.

They are not difficult to get back in. All i have to do is walk out there with a handful of alfalfa and they just come right along behind me.

That's not unfamiliar for me to hear about. Around here we call those animals "fence crawlers" since that's what they do, crawl under the fence.

Best thing may be to do is to put an electric wire at the nose level, or if that doesn't work, get rid of the ones that tend to like to not respect fences!

I wish mine would go under instead of over....it would save me a heartache . I worry they will land on a fence post.

Put up electric fence and it worked!!!

We are selling the two blacks since they aren't as friendly and keeping our Red Cow. She is very friendly and stays in!
