She came from a auction so her past is a mystery. But her face is so sweet looking and i love her beard. If i could get a bearded doe with wattles i really would be in heaven as i think both are cute lol. Anyway my plan is to some day have pure Nigerians. Ive got a reg buck and will be getting 2 unreg but pure does. Plan on joining IDGR. And dont want to keep to many mixed breeds and to me she is to big. She is 23 inches and around 70 to 100 pounds. Ive always thought she has Alpine in her but most recently looking at her ears she reminds me of some kinders ive seen. I know you guys cant tell me 100 percent sure she is this or that but i thought people who have owned Nigerians could look at her and say ya she looks pure to me or nope there is something else mixed in. Anyway here is a link to my site she is the 2nd doe name Daisy May.

My Nigerians are over 70 lbs each as adults. She looks like Nigerian but definitely couldn't say if she is pure. How did you measure her? It certainly could be that she is just over height. She is cute!

I measured all my goats using my hubby's tape measure. Its the only thing i have to measure with. I don't think i ever read what kind of measuring unit is ok or not. My other goats must be stunted or tiny. Oreo my pygmy/Nigerian is 17 inches and only im guessing around 50 pounds. And my buck Pure Nigerian is 19 inches and im guessing around 50 pounds as i can pick him up to. I guess me letting him run with my girls for the first few months after i got him stunted him. Thought i only had 3 does and 2 of them did not bred with him tell August he was about 6 months old then. There is not a lot of different in them i know. But when it come to working with them giving meds or anything hubby has to hold her as im not that strong. But the other goats i could do by myself.

Love your little goat she is so cute. I just got two more nigerian dwarfs and I love em. Thanks for sharing. I am actually in the same boat as you trying to identify my goats breed. I can't post links or pics yet though. Thanks again for sharing!
