J Feeders

I have a few questions about J feeders:
Are they efficient?
Can these be used for medium sized rabbits too?
What size should I be using for 6lb rabbits? (I am looking at sizes in range from 3.5 to 11.5 inch wide feeders)
Anything I should know or watch for when buying or using these feeders?
Online recommendations on where I should purchase a few for my rabbits?

They're the best feeders to use get the ones with screen on the bottom so the fines don't build up in the bottom.
For a single rabbit the small one is fine. when you have a litter to grow out you want a bigger one.
You may find some used ones on craigs list or new at any feed store.

I LOVE them! We have the metal ones with the screen backing and they are easy no muss no fuss.

My favorite aspect is that I can "feed and run" without having to open every cage door and navigate baby rabbits to get them filled!

I also agree, the bigger the better when dealing with baby bunnies - we have the small feeders for our buck cages, and bigger ones for the grow out cages for the babies so I don't need to refill every time I turn around (those babies can EAT )

IF you can get the flush feeder,that is better. The other ones the rabbit can dig it out. The flush they cant do that. I have some scratchers.

I would suggest getting the ones with lids or adding lids. It will help to keep rodents and birds out of the feeders. I actually have a problem with squirrels getting into mine.
