One of my kids was disbudded on the day I picked her up, the other about a week before. They've scabbed over pretty well, but both have knocked the scabs loose playing, causing some minor bleeding yesterday. What do I need to do to keep the area clean/disinfected? I just wiped the area down with a wet cloth and got it pretty clean.

mine have been doing that too, I sprayed them with Blu-Kote, which I bought at the feed store. It seemed to work and now they are scabbing up again. :)

You don't really have to do anything, but blu-kote certainly won't hurt anything.

If they are bleeding a lot, I use Blood Stop powder, then the Blue Kote. My Saanen kids end up being very patriotic looking with the blue and red on their white coats. Since, of course, they still have to bump heads. Even if it is sore. Silly goaties.
