Kefir grains can be obtained on several list bards for the asking.

Once you acquire the live culture grains the rest is easy peasy.

Add kefir grains to a quart jar. Pour in fresh milk about 2 inches from the top. Cover loosely with a cloth. Let it sit over night. Drain the milk culture. Recover your grains. Chill the kefir. Enjoy.

Add the kefir grains to a new jar of milk. Repeat.

Once you get tired of making kefir daily, put the grains an milk and store them in the fridge. They will keep seveal months this way as long as you occassionally change the milk. Once you want to make kefir again take them out, add fresh milk and leave out on the counter. It may take a little longer to get them started but once they get woke up they'll be like wildfire again.

Thank you. I got some once, ruined them (let them dry out) and couldn't remember where to find the site.
