Most of the buns are inside their humble little cooled barn, but 5 are outside in the heat. They'd be ok without them, but those outside get 2 liter frozen chillers and dearly love them. (They also have a fan blowing through and insulation board behind them to shield a heat reflecting surface.)

Sometimes they literally wrap themselves around the chillers, other times they'll just rest up against them or near them. (Don't worry, the sunshine was caused by me right then to let in more light for pics.) :D

Awwww, I do the same thing when it gets hot here. I actually had to buy a deep freeze to accommodate all the bottles. lol I do have to put "sleeves" on the ones that go in the grow out pens though bc the little buggers will chew it all up! I use my husbands old shirt sleeves with knots at either end (then he goes out and says 'THATS What you did with my favorite shirt!"

Funny how we can do whatever we want with their old clothes, yet they'd dare not touch ours.

I hear ya on the deep freeze...the bottles take a lot of space, lol. The little drinking water bottles are the perfect size to slip into tube socks, it's just too bad they won't last long in the heat, lol.

so. ill
can also put a 12"X12" ceramic floor tile in the freezer, then the bunnies can just lay flat on them. our home improvement store had them on sale for 88 cents each, so bought a case of 15 so everyone can have one when it gets hot again.
