I have a week old kid that I am bottle feeding. I have been feeding it the last 5 days on milk replacer. The first couple of days I used the mom's milk. The kid did poop the first few days. The kid goes outside during the day and I put it in a crate at night. The last three nights there has been no poop in the crate. So I kept the kid in all day, still no poop. I started to transition him from the milk replacer to the whole milk, condensed milk, buttermilk tonight. I'm hoping that will help. The kid eats fine and acts hungry. She pees a lot. Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?

A little warm water enema may help. You can use a syringe with a tip on it if you're very careful...lube it up and place the tip in the kids rectum and slowly inject the warm water. I don't know how big your kid is so use your best judgment on the amount. Good luck!
