It's a go, next summer the chickens will be moved to a moveable coop and the goats will inherit the chicken coop as their barn (about 17x13ft). I will be putting a lean-to on the end in their dry-lot as well.

I have a "bunker" over which I will be building a small deck, calling it the sleeping deck (ha ha, like they'll sleep on it right). Since we'll be breeding, I was hoping to through maybe one or two kidding stalls in. How big would a kidding stall need to be (at the least!) for miniature goats (Pygmy X's).

Pygmy goats---you need very little space

I use 6 x 6 for my Boer goats. I have about 10 of these stalls equipped with heat lamps etc. (I have a large herd obviously)

ONLY mommas that have trouble get put up for kidding and for a few days after to ensure kids are OK or if I need to doctor on anyone.

Most of my goats have their kids outside by themselves, I check everyone outside and if all is fine they stay there and I do not intervene. If they have the kids far from the barns, I haul everyone up and up them under cover and the doe and kids start life from there.
