So, I have a four, almost five week old lamb that I was given to bottle raise for my sister's boyfriend. She's been doing amazing so far and even now is doing great, but starting today she apparents to be grinding her teeth. Or, at least, I think that's what it is? I could be mixing it up with a different sound, but that's what it sounds like to me. Behavior wise she's great, not lethargic at all, and her appetite seems ravenous as ever. She's also frolicking and playing as normal. My biggest concern, naturally, as she is a bottle baby, is bloat, but I can't see any other signs of this. She does occasionally kick her legs, but she does this just before she jumps around so I dunno if that is a sign of anything.

She hasn't started on grain, but has access to hay and grass which I do know she has at least nibbled on it. A little tmi, but her poo is a greenish color and is soft, but not runny.

Any and all advice/help would be greatly appreciated.

Oh! I should also mention that she is drinking about 12-13 oz of milk replacer every eight hours.

Bonus, here's some images of her for tax.

Okay. I will just keep a close watch on her. Thank you guys! Not gonna lie, almost talked myself into a tizzy cause I was so afraid I was doing something wrong by accident. The noises do tend to happen most often after she's settled and is laying down, so her chewing cud could be a definite possibility, I just didn't know they made a sound while doing it. lol

They can make sounds....she's learning and smaller amounts. Plus her baby teeth are not as smooth. Older ones I generally hear them belch it up if I'm near...I have goats.

Also, that's when they chew...after eating & they lay down to process the half chewed hay/grass.
