Is it normal for the lead doe to be really witchy to a new buckling?
My doe Mouth is still relentless in regards to Lil Lucky, my new buckling.
Today she hooked him pretty good. So she is now tied up so poor lil Lucky can at least get into one of the shelters.
Goldie my other doe is not as bad. She got put in the barn because I am thinking she may be kidding some time soon.
The only goats that are nice to the new guy is Mouths two kids.
Is it possible Mouth is just a witch.

Well...no goats here, but our lead ewe Dolly is a total witch to every new comer! What I've done with her is keep her separate with a friend for a few days and then let her back in with the rest and that seems to make a difference. Not sure if it is because she was displaced for a bit or what, but works here...good luck!
