We stopped milking Lenora 10 days ago. Before when we were milking her she was much more easy to handle. She now doesn't want to mind me nearly as well as she did when DH was milking her twice a day.
We are still putting her up on the milking stand to feed her in the am and pm. She doesn't jump up on the stand quite as quickly as she did, and she doesn't want to go inside her house at dusk like she did.
Is it normal for their behavior to change after they are no longer being milked? She is supposed to be preggers, due after April 11.
Her udder is slowly decreasing in size, is not hard or too hot.
She seems to be feeling well, eats like a pig, ooops! goat.
