It's just like any other morning on our farm, let the chickens out, and go open up my rabbit house and check on the bunnies. I go to the end of their house and open up their french doors, my Beveren doe is on that end and I always give her pets because she is the sweetest. I noticed she wasn't herself this morning, I get closer to her and she is swaying back and forth. I immediately go into mom mode and take her our of her cage to see what's wrong. I put her on my table I have and she can't even stand up, she then has a mini seizure, her legs go to the side and her neck twists. I quickly wrap her in a blanket and hold her. I go running in my house balling my eyes out, I was so freaked out. I didn't want anything to happen to her!! I sit her by the heater and just hold her, after a few minutes she is fine. I was so mad/happy that she was ok but then again why does she need to scare me like that? :barnie My heart dropped all the way down to my feet. She is currently in a carrying cage that she can't move in to give her muscles time to calm down. She probably did this because she was my house baby and now I moved her out with the other rabbits. I'm thinking she had her mini seizure because she probably got too frisky last night in her cage and she wanted to punish me for putting her out with the other bunnies. When she was in the house, she was a beautiful snow white! Now since she is not in the house she has really let herself go, she isn't as pretty as she use to be! :barnie What a wonderful way to start my morning... :hit

I guess you have yourself an indoor bunny. :D
She was my indoor bunny since she was a baby, but my mom said I had to put her out with the other bunnies... well Shasta (my doe) has other plans! She's actually the doe in my display picture and she knows how to get what she wants!:gig

I'm not sure, but the seizure was the real deal. She may just not like the temperature change since she was a house rabbit the start of her life. Or she may of got too frisky in her cage and just aggravated her nerves. I've had a rabbit hurt himself so bad that he had wry neck and died in my arms from a seizure, that was the worst thing I have ever seen... :( She is perfectly fine now since she is back in my room, I'm not sure what her problem was this morning :hu

Seizures in animals aren't usually the result of an "emotional" situations like that, even anxiety in animals manifest differently, usually like neurotic tendencies such as fur pulling, self mutilation, pacing, panting. The seizure is more likely some sort of medical thing, so I wouldn't so much about the indoor/outdoor situation, and keep a close eye on her diet and physical behaviors so you can alert a vet to any trends leading up to seizures down the road if need be.

Good luck with your bunny

Well whatever it was she is in the house now. Don't feel like risking it again, she will just be my house bunny. She seems more calm in the house then out in the rabbit house.
