Well, I just wanted to share this. I put my buck and weather in a pasture that has lilacs in it. Probably a dozen big bushes about 5 feet tall. The first plants that they foraged all of the leaves from were the lilacs. They really liked them. Then my brother in law told me that they shouldn’t eat lilacs. The boys are fine though. Never noticed any distress.
The lilacs were not flowering. I am assuming that the flowers might be the problem,not the leaves.
Anyway, just thought that I’d pass that along in case anyone gets worried about a goat eating a few lilac leaves.
