Does anyone know of a site about info on the breed ? Like cage size requirements, grooming and all that or is it the same as others ? I have only raised MiniRex's but always wanted lionheads and after searching for about a year for a doe I decided to just sell my buck . Well I didnt and FINALLY found a Lionhead breeder thats less than an hour away ! :weee

Wont be til june or july but thats okay, gives me time to prepare !:D

Ok so besides the other website i gave you, this was the best one i could find (and pretty much the only one) its greathousefarm.com now just to be sure that the info on this site is accurate i would check out a few other websites when you can. Try using a different search engine like ask or yahoo, also i did this today even though its not usual. I would type in "rex rabbits for sale" on google (again, try when it works) and i would go on breeders websites and actually email them and ask them questions, who better to ask than a breeder of the kind of rabbit i want to learn about! But make sure to contact a few like at least five, for they may not know what theyre talking about. For instance, today i contacted a breeder and asked if itd be safe to breed a rex with a lop and he said itd be dangerous for the doe while she was in birth. Maybe he just assumed that the rex was the male and lop was the doe, because that would be dangerous. But who knows. But anyways it sounds pretty obvious he was wrong. Oh and when you contact them theyre not going to be as nice as the people on here they were all really just straight forward and not very descriptive with their answers, but its better than nothing! Hope this helps
