Im looking for a list of common goat breeds that has them listed shortest to tallest. Recently got a Nubian doe through trade but she is an inch or 2 too tall for my Nigerian dwarf buck, going to trade her and im trying to make sure i don't make the same mistake twice.

She'll scrunch down when it's time!! Trust me, they'll make it happen. You are new to this? It's ok....just know unless it's 4-6" difference, well it's happening.

If you're just looking at overall size -- it's the other working parts that matter. 👍:old

No I've had pygmy, Nigerian dwarf, and myotonic goats for years. Just my first time with a full size doe

My buck generally leaves the girls alone unless they are ready to breed and then he won't leave them alone, hes not left this poor girl alone for one second and is screaming for her so I assumed she was about there lol

He may need a "booster seat". Can you give him some high ground or a hay bale U shape with her in the middle or a milk stand to stand on so you can have peace of mind?

He may still reach her just fine on his own-it only takes once!

Personally I'm surprised she's already cycling this year. Rut is fall. It's early summer!

Ive been giving her a little extra feed on a hill where he can try and I tried positioning her in front of a platform we have and he has tried more than several times lol

Well fingers crossed.
