Livestock Guardians?

Is there any way to make a specific section for Livestock Guardians?
It just seems weird to be seeing LG posts under all the different sections, instead of having one place for them to go.

That could be something we might add. We'll need to see how many discussions there are on them.

If we did create a section (or sections) what would they be, or just one "LGD" section for everything?

I think just a Livestock Guardians section under Herds General section.

Not LGD, cause that's a livestock guardian dog and not all guardians are dogs. My guardian is a llama and some people use donkeys

eta: I think that most of the LG threads are related to training with only a few going in other directions so I really don't see a need for multiple categories. But there have been a lot of LG threads especially recently.

I think at least to start off, it could be 1 collective Livestock Guardian section... if there is a lot of response, then perhaps seperate it into catagories... like Training & handling LGs, LG - health, feeding LGs...

I think that health and feeding really falls into the existing categories though...especially for the llamas and donkeys...I know those who use dogs would be left with the other animals category though... :/

When it comes to LGs I think the big thing is training and that's the topic you're gonna get the most for them.

You're right on the feeding thing, when it comes to animals other than dogs... but the LGDs just can't be fed the same way as most dogs, and there may be some interesting tips and/or thoughts on how and what to feed them.

I still agree that having 1 section for them is the way to go, at least for now.

Other Livestock Guardians - Training
Livestock Guardian Dog - Training
Livestock Guardian Dogs - Health and Feeding
