Hello, I live in western Oregon on a little tiny 'farm'. I have been lurking around here for probably years, off and on. Never did have much to say. I have a little herd of goats, 3 milkers and a handful of packgoats. I raised goats while my children were in FFA and have now 'retired' to what is comfortable for me to care for on my own. I also have a little flock of chickens, at least it will be little after the butcher run this month. How does a hen hatch out 17 chicks and there's only 3 pullets in the whole bunch? geeze.
I decided I'd better join to better decide if my grandson needs one of those cute Nigerian Dwarf babies to grow up with. My boys are too big for a little one to learn on. Hmmm...
It will be nice talking to you all, instead of just reading.
