Looking for a boyfriend for my doe

I'm an accidental goat owner (consequently that's also how I ended up with ducks). I've had them for 3.5 months and the girl just started going into heat a few days ago. I have to decide if I want to breed her in November or December - but where exactly does one "shop" for a boyfriend? She is a registered nubian and I'd like to also get a registered nubian boyfriend for her. The local paper didn't have a "Goat Seeking Goat" classified section...


I asked my feed store and they didn't have any names.

Yes, I'm clueless. Help.

we found registered nubians thru the ADGA book of members. where are you located. one of our local 4-h er's has 3 registereable buck kids of breeding age. we are in southern illinois, close to several interstates. you might also check with 4-H club

I use Hoobly.com a lot but also do look on breeder pages from the registration associations we belong to.

I found this farm just by googling (Is that a new verb?) "Nubian stud service Maine". Not sure how far they are from you but if you do some research I'm sure you'll come across something.
