I want a design for an all mesh cage with j hooks and stuff but larger than most people make i want 3ft long by 2ft wide by 2ft tall or anything close because most people don't have a DIY video or step by step with pictures of one that size.

I think the basic design is the same regardless of the size you'd like to build. It just depends on the dimensions you cut your wire. There was a good article in 'Countryside & Small Stock Journal' a while back -- Vol. 90 #6, Nov/Dec, 2006. I'm not sure if you can find it online but it's titled, appropriately enough, "How To Build Your Own Small Animal Cages" by Lorna Jean Banks. All you need are the J-clips, pliers for attaching and removing them, wire cutters and a few rolls of wire (some folks use different mesh sizes for floors and sidewalls). A pair of work gloves might also be helpful. Hope this helps. ;)

Virginia is for Pasture Farmers!
Yes, it's all the same.
If you want to save a little $ and time cutting, do a Quonset style.
You can also use chicken wire technically, if you're in a real $ pinch.

I grew up with the best cage design possible. (I think)
4 story high.
The back half of the floor was wire and the front wood.
Under the wire was a sloped surface that was the top of the below cage.
All the droppings would roll on the slope into a sloped concrete round ditch where I would clean every 2 weeks or more and hose with water after that.
8 cages in one unit and 2 units face to face.
One hay rack for 2 cages made it easier to feed.
