Hey...I live in So. IL and am looking for a horse. More specifically a large breed horse. A draft or draft mix, Shire, Clyde, etc. Age isn't particularly important as long as it can be used for trails. If it is a foal and up, I am willing to train it myself and I am only looking for geldings but mares totally acceptable. I would prefer not to have a stallion.
Nothing needs to be fancy about it, just a big, gentle giant for a beginner or something I could train for trail riding. Price is sort of an issue and I do have a budget and can't afford anything over $1000. The horse will be well taken care of with full pasture access, kept on my own property and taken care of personally. Loved every day.
