So I wondered if there's some value in doing the original base model mallard species? Don't they have some positive traits that might make them worth looking at?

There must be a reason they are able to thrive in the wild. And I'm also curious if they have good mothering traits also?

I had noticed hatcheries do sell a base mallard duck breed that has flying ability, and I was surprised by that.
