Mastitis Presentation

We hosted a meeting of the NC Dairy Goat Breeders Association at our house today. Dr. Kevin Anderson with the NC State University Vet School did a presentation on mastitis in dairy goats. Very interesting stuff.

Looks interesting. I am sure there was a lot of good info!
We just put down a Kiko that had bluebag mastitis. Occurred 24 hours after kidding, after 5 days we made the call to euthanize.
Never had mastitis and never want to see it again!

Sorry to hear that about your doe.
He did have several slides about bluebag mastitis. That's really bad

We did discuss for awhile why Nigerians seem to have less of an issue with mastitis.
