The milk from Pepper this morning wouldn't go through the filter. Filter has creamy thickness in the bottom. No strings. No curds. Not lumps. When I ran my fingers across the filter, it just smeared, just as cream does.
Pepper has a one month old, big boy nursing on her. Also 2 days ago she had scabs on both of her teats but I attributed those to horse fly wounds. Put some bag balm on them. Yesterday, they were healed over just fine.
She is eating and pooping just fine. She does keep coming back into heat every few days.

Any diagnosis? Mastitis tests are not available here and it would take 6 weeks or more to order them sent in.

Sometimes my girls milk has a thick creamy gobs in it, not all the time but about 2 days ago it did.

I tasted it and it tasted fine. It wouldn't go through the filter either.

I just rinsed the filter and continued to pour milk through it.

We've been drinking it and we are fine.

When they have blood or it's stringy that's when there is a problem.

that makes me feel better. I gave all the milk today to the cats and dogs.
