Is it just me or does it look swollen..?? And not very clean...?? (First question- my mom -has had horses- second question me, never owned a horse tho had riding ) Or is that just a mini horse thing?

My mum says that the break probably isn't supposed to be there, but she'd be able to identify it better in person (which is why you should send her to us!!! :D)

I am sorry I don't understand what your saying.

I need someone with experience to give a look at this picture so if I need to get this mini horse treatment I can get it quickly.

Is that before or after the trim?

I do believe that split is normal. His heel is rather tall and that part is an extension of the frog which has a split in it.

If he is a quality farrier, he would be able to tell you what it is.

Yes this was like a few hours after the trim.

I just wanted to make sure that everything was all good cause I don't want to wait till something is in a bad way.

So far everyone has told me it is normal.

I am new to owning any horses at all he is my first :)
