Hello, I raise Miniature Cheviot sheep, and I am currently taking deposits for spring lambs.

My sheep are colored sheep, meaning that lambs are most likely to be black or dillutes. Mini Cheviots are short, between 18 and 24 inches at the shoulder, and weigh between 60 and 100 lbs, with the rams usually closer to the 100 lb mark. Ewes are good mothers, have few lambing issues, and often twin. They are polled and easy to handle. Calm and friendly. Great for homesteaders looking for a small dual purpose (wool/meat) breed or pet sheep. The Miniature in the breed name is something of a misnomer - Mini Cheviots are actually an old type cheviot sheep, in the past most sheep breeds were smaller than today's modern counterparts. Mini Cheviots are not tall, but they are long bodied and hardy. They produce a good wool that handspinners enjoy.

I will be selling only ram lambs this year. I expect to have between 2 and 4 registered and grade (unregistered) Mini Cheviot lambs available.

Pick up and transport of lambs is the responsibility of the buyer.
