Is it okay to keep goats of various breeds together? All my goats will be does, but are different breeds together okay? For now I'm just getting Nigis but wanted later to add La Manchas and/or some other breed that might give a different quality or amount of milk but still be a sweet animal. This isn't a crossbreeding question, just a housing one. :D Would the biggest obstacle be the size difference?

Biggest obstacles would probably be personalities and how much space you are giving them. You can house different breeds together including size difference. But personalities may clash and you need to make sure everyone has plenty of space.

You can keep different breeds together, But for me the most important thing would be the Buck, I would never have a bigger buck than the smallest breed in the same pasture

Usually after the first few days/weeks they would be fine, but feeding is a different thing, the bigger, stronger goats will have everything unless you tie them or feed them in separate areas

They'll do fine, and actually...my Nigis are the rude crew and knock the Nubians around, so I have to put some food high up for the big girls that the minis can't get to LOL...

That's funny to hear. I just got a little Nigi kid ~ 3 months old, and she is trying to eat out of the grain bucket of my full grown Nubian....and he doesn't seen to care! Where as if the Nigi/togg cross tries, he gets slammed. funny goats.
