Can anyone tell me about this breed? Everything I have read onlien so far says they're either only dairy or not hardly anything about their use as beef cattle or if they're any good for that.
I found someone selling Montbeliarde/Holstien cross heifer calves but they are around 2 hours from me. I would liek to find out a little more about the breed or the cross as far as beef qualities go. I am familiar with Holstiens but need to know more about montbeliarde's.
Our own bull is a BWF so whatever heifer calves we get will eventually be bred to him to add some more beef to the babies. Just really love the BWF look and they're hard to come by around here.
