Hello from West Virginia! I've been getting along fine over at BYC but now I'm interested in getting a few goats so I came over here for some good info. We're thinking pygmy or dwarf since we don't have our dream property yet.

Great! Looks like we're about 2 1/2 hrs away. I will definitely keep you in mind when we begin our search in earnest for the goats. We have a friend who is getting a pygmy this week and said we can come over for a visit. This will give us a much clearer picture of what we're talking about. Are pygmy & dwarf about the same size? Nigerian...are they the ones that are kind of known for being a little more talkative? It seems like someone here said there was one breed that is known for being a bit louder than most others. I know it varies by individuals too.
