Loving the herd life
We have some little cuties here!! We got a phone call today the family we got little Rocky from couldn't keep them. 1 buck, 3 does, 2 newborn doelings and one older buckling. Their original owner passed away and the lady's brother took them in. He brought them from Conn last fall. We bought them all home in the car today! They rode well for the 1/2 hr ride. They jumped out of the car and followed us to the paddock. Got all their feet trimmed and will do shots tomorrow. One doe is due very soon, she's very wide, bagged up and another is preggers.(left them in with the buck, he didn't have a clue!) Unfortuately registration papers were lost due to circumstances but they are so cute she won't have trouble selling offspring. Pictures later, camera forgotten in the barn.
