Mystery Bump

I just was outside and one of my does came up and I noticed a lump on the side of her face. I honestly am not think CL because she has been here for 2 1/2 years, and no new animals have come here since April. Any suggestions of what it may be?

Bug bite? Clump of food lodged between cheek and jaw?
Got a picture? Is it hard or soft? Is it painful if you touch it?

The bump went away in that Doe. So, I am guessing food or something. But, when I got home, I noticed my 7 month old buck had died. Sad, but he was one that I was gonna sell. Still have no idea what happened to him. May have gotten into a fight and he may have got the worst side of the fight.
