Need experienced advice

Not a clear pic, but it looks like ear mites. Is the ear crusty with crud? If so, then just squirt some mineral oil in the ear. Just be advised that your rabbit will not like it, so don't be holding her all cuddly-like. She will kick you. Just restrain her with one hand, holding her down in the cage, and give a good squirt in the ear with the other hand. Several applications of mineral oil, one a day or every other day, should do it. And you can clean out the crud with q tips after it softens up.

Thanks! When I went out now, it's dried. It was actually liquidity this morning. I have never seen this before.

I used to have rabbits and once a month went through the barn giving them 1/4 dropper of mineral oil in each ear.

I have had ear mites through my barn several time.
that pic was definitely ear mites. olive oil works too. the point of the oil in to suffocate and drown the mites. watch out though, ear mites often go hand in hand with fur mites

Fur mites.. How to treat those? I don't see any but when I got them on a pony I rescued once the vet had me spray cheap fly spray all over the pony to kill them~and it did. I really dont want to do that with the bunnies. What else to use? Thank you!!!

plane original Listerine mouthwash. It sounds crazy, but it works. I put it along their backbone, (part the hair first) from ears to tail. then on any infected area.

My brother had a rabbit with ear mites really bad one time. We just used cheap vegetable oil to cure it. One thing's for sure, if it's had them for a while in their ear and it's built up, be prepared to step back from the cage as soon as you squirt the oil in. Once they feel that oil running down in their ear they don't like it at all and they start to shake their heads like crazy trying to get it out. Don't be surprised when chunks of crud and oil fly everywhere.
