Okay so I will be getting a new doe on sunday!! I ablsolutely cannot wait to see her and bring her home!! She is a registered purebred Nigerian Dwarf Goat. She is a milker and is currently not in milk now. I plan to have her and my girls bred again Fall 2011. She will be milked then after she kids.
Im so excited about this doe. Im happy to be introducing her to the girls as I know they will be very happy to see another female.
Which leads me to say I sold billy goat to a very nice family yesterday and Im very to say that I know he will be very loved by the family as he will have a few females to breed soon!
So god has really blessed me with finding billy goat a good home and bringing me to this doe for such a wonderful price! Very blessed and thankful!!

Congratulations! Looks like she'll have a nice milkable udder. Well done indeed. Congrats on your sale also.

I got her this morning at 7:30!! She is THE SWEETEST doe!! She is very very friendly walks on a leash and just loves people. She also licks your hands like a dog would. We absolutely love her!!! :)

Here are some pictures that I took when she arrived at the barn.

Her and the girls first time greet.

This is Binky, she was doing the strangest thing. Running around behind the new doe with her tung hanging out making very silly noises.
It was the silliest thing.

Very cute! No wonder she gives kisses, I see in the first picture that you got her Starbucks! :p

I had a pygmy doe that was my "hormone geiger counter" in that she would zero in on any doe that had elevated hormone levels.....coming into heat, getting ready to kid, just kidded, etc. She wouldn't blubber like a buck, but she'd follow the target doe and sniff her hiney and udder.
