Exploring the pasture
Hi Everyone! I figured I'd better introduce myself! This seems like a perfect place to learn and ask some questions. My Wife and I grew up in eastern South Dakota, and we both always wanted to have a place out in the country. This last July we were able buy a small place with 5 acres. We had a small flock of guineas pretty much as soon as we moved in, which we love, and we're now setting up for a couple of pygmy goats. Our hope for the future is to have some more fowl, and possible have a small herd of fiber goats or Scottish Highlands. This summer we've been kept busy with all the projects on the house, and getting a garden setup. Lots of plans, but we'll see what happens!
