So, we got these rabbits from this gentleman, and they are doing really well, except one..She has had several things going on. First, she went from paper with him to hay with us. She was sneezing so much, we switched to alfalfa. She seemed better, but her breathing was/is labored a bit..At one point, she had a nose bleed, I saw it coming from the nose, but that has since stopped, once we switched her to the alfalfa..We had another doe that we thought was due in about a week, and the others about two weeks out. Well, this lady has taken three days to birth so far, 9 dead babies..She's still not breathing quite right, and we have her isolated. My hubby is going to get more info on her, but I am thinking this is her first..So, the dead babies are not a surprise. I am praying she either gets better in the next couple of days, or just dies. We just dont know what to do with her...a sign from the heavens would help! Your thoughts are appreciated too...Not sure why the process has taken her three days..
