I got an 8 week old lionhead doe yesterday from a breeder. She is hand tamed and very sweet. I am going today to buy a cage for her.
One question i have is what type of feed should i get for an 8 week old mini rabbit? How much should i give her? Are carrots bad for rabbits? I have been feeding her carrots this morning and she ate some lettuce.
Anything else i should know?

I give carrots to my rabbits whenever so I don't think carrots are poisonous other whys I wouldn't have any rabbits left  . I have never seen a rabbit get sick/die form a carrot either. Heck, Bugs Bunny eats carrots all the time and I still see him on T.V.
The lettuce though I would start off with a little bit once its a green. I have hear of young rabbits getting diharea from feeding them to much greens but it has never happened to my rabbits. I just start them off with a tiny bit untill they are about 6 months (I also put enough dry food out for them to eat when ever they want when I give them grass/greens ).
For feeding young bunnies, I fill there feeder so that they can eat whenever they are hungrey. I think young bunnies should have full tummies so they can grow.
