i am interested in starting a very small lionhead breading program. i want to entertain my eternal need for baby critters of adorableness (also owner of goateis, chickens, ducks, cats and dog) and also sell some to make some money back. not looking to make a fortune. should i invest in the pedigree stock or just get pet quality ones without pedigrees. income wise, sales volume wise which is a better option. i will probably not be showing them myself. maby someday i would...

Why would you want to start a breeding program with anything other than pedigreed stock? Especially if you intend to sale and possibly show in the future. I would purchase the best stock you can afford.

i suggest looking around alot. you never know what you might find. some people who need to sell rabbits quickly will give ya a great deal. example, i am getting a dutch pair with 4 2wk old kits, with pedigree, with 2 cages. all for $75. and a lionhead trio with hutch for $75. quite a deal :)
keep looking. dont give up :)
