Hello, brief intro. We have 6 goats. 1 lovely Boer billy and 5 mixed breed. Of the 5: 2 female and their babies which are now 3 months old.

I will try to post pics soon.

We also have chickens, a donkey and an awesome Pyrenees that protects all.

I am very new to goats. Have had about 5 horses so I am more comfortable with horses but enjoying my goats immensely. I'm sure I will have dumb goat questions. Especially if/when the girls get pregnant again.

And if we sell or loan the billy out, will need advice when that day comes.

Thanks for reading this :)

Great Name! And welcome to the insanity!

Oh my, can I certainly relate... from 40 odd years in horses, to a menergrie of goats, rabbits, chickens, ducks, quails and pheasants... and an appetite to whet my whistle for other kinds of critters, no thanks to the wonderful "enablers" in BYH! :thumbsup

The most wonderful thing about this group is that no matter here you live in the world, you're connected to some of the most valueable advice and knowledge as close as a few keystrokes away... it's always reassuring when you hit a snag, or have a question... these guys and gals are on it! That definitely makes the transition from horses, to everything else much smoother! :clap
