I am currently laying the plans out for my goat barn ( I intend on putting mine up every night so predators don't get them) but I have run into some problems. I plan on having one buck so of course I know I need to keep him separate, but also when one of my girls has her kid does she need her own pen? I wasn't exactly sure, I have heard of a doe giving birth then the other goats stomping the baby to death but wasn't sure if it was just the bucks that did this or all of them. Someone please help me!?!

It's a very good idea to put mama and baby in a pen together for at least a few days after birth. There are plenty of goats in the world that will kid out in the field and take right up with her babies, but there are also plenty which are prone to give birth and walk right the hell off, leaving the kids to die of starvation.
