Where do you measure a goats height? Also, using the tape that gives weight, where do you measure? Thanks.

Not sure about the goat weight tape but for their height I was told to measure from the ground to their withers (shoulder blades).

yes at the withers for height. What type of goat are you measuring and using the weight tape on? The weight tapes are not accurate for the miniature breeds. Regardless you put the tape around the heart girth.

Weight tapes aren't accurate for Boers or other meat breeds either.

Personally, I never did find weight tapes to be accurate on any breed we have had.

We have Nigerians so I just use a bathroom scale and pick the goat up and subtract my weight.
