I have 2 Nigerian Dwarf bucks who have been kept in a pen together for almost a year with no issues. They've sparred and butted heads a bit, but neither ever got hurt. Last night while feeding everyone, I noticed they were really going at it--butting heads over and over. My older buck turned to look at me, and I saw he had blood all over the base of his horns, and two nasty gashes----one by each horn. The younger had no.injuries at all. My question is : can I put Blue Kote on the wounds or should I just use iodine?

Just about any wound antiseptic should work fine.
You may want to put something on the area to keep flys away. Fly spray or fly paste.
It might be overkill but I would also consider a tetnus booster.

We use BluKote when our bucks do that but you have to be careful about not getting in their eyes.
