:O Amazing...

Something kind of amazing happened today!

It was the first time I'd actually heard my rabbits make any noise.

I was sort of stunned by it. One of them was making noise probably because I put her in the pen with the buck. (Think she didn't want it.)

But it was sort of amazing to hear that. They are normally soooo quiet.

Until I caught a young, wild one once, I didn't realize they could even make a noise. Had never heard one...even the pet ones.

The ones around here talk a lot. There's meeping, squeaking, thumps, grunts, grumbles and the occasional yodel as well as the highly alarming "I am about to die!" scream. Young babies are probably the noisiest.

Rabbits make noise but are still quiet. They make perfect livestock in town backyards.

Just wait until something tries to kill them or they think they're dying...Holy cow, you wouldn't think such tiny, quiet animals could sound so crazy loud & high pitched...Like pigs, but they scream for fun. Ugh

Picked up one of the babies and he must of thought he was going to die. He was screaming really loudly. Silly bun, he should know humans bring food by now, but it was the first time he'd been picked up since his eyes opened. Maybe he was afraid of heights?
