Out of all my goats, my Oberhasli doe is the sweetest and most gentle of all(surprisingly she is still the herd Queen). She has been easy to milk, no milk stand and not tied up, she just stands there. She has never tried to jump up on any of us, learned her name quicker than any of the other goats, and is quiet. I love love love Oberhaslis:)

I have always been an Oberhasli fan. Sweet, blessedly quiet, smart, etc.

Ours, too, is herd queen out of 25 or so goats, most are much heavier than her (Boers and Nubs) but she don't truck w/ no foolishness.

Here's a pic of my 3 Ob kids. The boy in the middle is black.....yeah, I know they're not supposed to be, but I don't care, he's gorgeous!

treats and spending time around him can help tame him down.
