Hello,
I searched the internet for a while and even here on this forum but couldn't find an answer to my specific situation.
I've been raising a few lambs together but I need to get the female out of there as the two ram lambs are approaching 3 months old and I don't want her bred yet. (She's about 5 months old)
I had a ewe lamb just yesterday and she had twins. She's separated into her own pen.
My husband is in the process of building another pen for her and her babies but in the meantime I need to get that other female sheep out of that ram pen.
So question is is it a hard no that I shouldn't attempt to put her in with the new mom and babies? I'm afraid she will hurt them. Only other option is to put her in thr adjacent goat pen where I know the goats will bully her. I really don't want to do that.
The pen should be done in the next couple days but we saw the ram lambs jumping on each other the other day and don't want to wait any longer to seperate.
